Employability Programme:
Overview:
Our Employability Programme is a course designed to help you obtain full-time employment through a flexible course of study, improving your knowledge and application of employability skills such as updating your resume. Learners have the opportunity to follow at their own pace through either a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, allowing you to progress to a related qualification or employment within the vocational sector.
Within this course there are multiple modules to pick and choose to tailor to your weak points and improve your chances at obtaining employment, these modules include:
CV writing
Applying for jobs
Interviewing techniques
Health & safety at work
Managing own money
Working as a volunteer
Progression Opportunity:
As mentioned earlier, this course is designed with two outcomes in mind when it comes to a learner's progression:
Learners are able to access sustainable employment. This will be the case where learners are unemployed or wish to enter the workforce or join an apprenticeship immediately.
Learners at Level 2 can begin to pursue further study and progress to an occupational qualification.
How Long Does It Take?
We have multiple entry points throughout the year for you to get started, with this course typically taking up to 8-32 weeks depending on the learner's previous knowledge, skill and how fast they progress during the course.
How Much Does It Cost?
All Functional Skill courses are funded privately and thus are thus no cost to you. All you have to do is show up and put the work in to succeed.
